Beastly (2011)
A drama, romance and adaptation film written by Daniel Barnz (screenplay) and Alex Flinn (novel). This film is also directed by Daniel Barnz. This drama and romance film features hollywood stars Alex Pettyfer, Vanessa Hudgens, Mary-Kate Olsen and Neil Patrick Harris. This film was set in modern day Manhattan and also has a take on modern day Beauty and the Beast. This film is about a New York kid who has it all - looks, intelligence, wealth and opportunity but with a downside because of his mean and cruel nature. After he ditched his date a curse was placed upon him by a woman turning him and transforming him into things he disliked most. With his new ugly appearance he faces the seemingly impossible challenge to find his true love in order to break the wicked spell.
